Registration Notes
- One registration per Unit per session.
- Minimum of 2 Scouts and 2 registered Adult Leaders required for all reservations. Additionally, a ratio of one adult for every four youth is required.
- Individual registrations for Cub Scout parents or legal guardians with their own child or legal ward that cannot attend Summer Camp with their Pack need to contact: 492.camping@scouting.org
- Supervision of camping activities must include qualified, registered, adult leadership.
- At a minimum, one leader present is current in Hazardous Weather Training for all unit types. It is recommended that all leaders complete this training.
- Additionally, at a minimum, Cub Scout Packs and Webelos / Arrow of Light Dens who camp overnight must have a BALOO trained leader present. It is recommended for all Cub Scout leaders.
- There must be a registered female adult leader 21 years of age or over in every Unit serving females.
- All adults staying overnight in connection with a Scouting activity must be currently registered in the BSA in an adult fee required position. Limited exception for Cub Scout overnight Programs.
- Cub Scout parents or legal guardians taking part in an overnight Cub Scout program with their own child or legal ward are not required to register as leaders. All adults must review the “How to Protect your Children from Child Abuse: A Parent’s Guide” that can be found in the front of each Cub Scout Handbook. In addition, the parent or legal guardian must be accompanied by a registered leader at any time they are with youth members other than their own child/ward. All other overnight adults must be currently registered in an adult fee required position.
