Get ready for an unforgettable weekend at Webelos Woods 2025 – “Trail to Adventure”! at the beautiful Douglas Ridge Rifle Club. Cub Scout Packs and Scout Troops from across the Timberline and Cascadia Districts will come together to experience the excitement of Troop camping. This is the perfect opportunity for Webelos and Arrow of Light Scouts to explore what lies ahead on their Scouting journey while enjoying the fun and adventure of the outdoors.
Saturday morning, Troops will host interactive morning booths where Scouts can showcase their best skills, from knot-tying to fire building, first aid, and more. In the afternoons, Cub Scouts will test their aim with archery, slingshots, and BB guns, then visit troop campsites to see firsthand how troops bring the adventure to life. It’s a hands-on way to discover new skills, meet new friends, and imagine what it’s like to be part of a Troop.
As the sun sets on Saturday, everyone will gather for a campfire program filled with songs, skits, cheers, and Scout spirit—the perfect way to cap off a day of adventure. Whether you’re a Webelos or Arrow of Light Scout eager for the next step, a Cub Scout parent curious about Troop life, or in a Scout BSA troop and ready to meet potential new members, Webelos Woods: Trail to Adventure promises memories, laughter, and a path forward in Scouting you won’t want to miss. Sign up today and start your adventure!
Training Bonus!
A free in-person Scoutmaster Specific training course is being offered on Saturday. This is Scouting America's initial level of training for the top leaders of Scout troops. Taking this course along with the Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills (IOLS) course (taught in the spring) and online Hazardous Weather Training demonstrates that you are a trained leader in your unit. You can sign up as part of adult registration.
Annual Health and Medical Record Forms
Each participant needs to bring with them their Annual Health and Medical Record, parts A and B completely filled out. Make sure the unit number is on the form.
Registration and Cost Information
Units must register by September 30th with a $25 deposit and provide an estimate of the number of participants they are bringing. The deposit will be applied to the entire registration. No new units will be accepted after 9/30. Units then have until October 14 to enter participant details and pay the final registration fee of $20.00 per person. Note there is a limit of 450 people at the event so the window to register a unit may close before September 30.
Refund Policy
Deposit and reservations are nonrefundable
Adult Supervision Policy from the Guide to Safe Scouting
Two registered adult leaders 21 years of age or over are required at all Scouting activities, including all meetings. There must be a registered female adult leader 21 years of age or over in every unit serving females.
