Would your troop, crew, or ship like to add shooting to your program? If so, you must have an NRA Rifle Instructor and an NRA Range Safety Officer on the range at all times. Also, the Guide to Advancement requires that all training for Rifle Merit Badge where a firearm or ammunition is present must be done by an NRA Rifle Instructor. If you are in either category this course is for you.

In order to register for this course you will need to register on the NRA website for both the Basic course AND the Instructor course. Both of these will be taught at Camp McLoughlin June 21-23, 2024 beginning at 6 pm on June 21 and ending at 2 pm on June 23, 2024. You will also be required to attend NRA Basic Instructor Training at Camp McLoughlin on June 15, 2024 beginning at 10 am and ending at 6 pm. You may need to copy and paste the links into your browser. After you register at the NRA website you will receive a link to pay for the training.

Price $195.00 and includes food and lodging, training materials, all firearms and ammunition.

Personal firearms are not permitted at this training course.
