WSCC Shooting Sports Complex Facility Orientation

This Facility Orientation will be required for supervising users of the Williamson Shooting Sports Complex (WSSC) at the Mabee Scout Reservation, The agenda will include: 1) a review of the Standard Operating Procedures, 2) “back-stage tour” of each of the ranges and operation of the equipment, 3) familiarization of the expendable materials that will be available, 4) the reservation process, and 5) a preview of future program opportunities.

A training completion card will be issued to each attendee, a copy of which will be required when submitting future WSSC reservations. A person with the WSSC Facility Orientation training will have to be present at WSSC during use of the facility.

Scouters holding current certification as an NRA Instructor or Range Safety Officer, or USA Archery Instructor, should attend one of these sessions. Other scouters with an interest in shooting sports, are welcome to attend and share with the unit the potential program opportunity that awaits your Scouts at the WSSC.
