2026 National Scout Jamboree

Event Details

Scouting’s flagship event is one-of-a-kind. It’s a gathering of approximately 20,000 Scouts, leaders, and staff that showcases everything that is great about the BSA and its members. Held every four years, the Jamboree is an amazing opportunity for participants, volunteers, and visitors to experience the best of Scouting, all in one place. Features include; one of the longest zip line courses in North America, a world-class skate park, ATV offerings, treetop canopy tours, rock climbing, patch trading, stadium shows, and much more!

The Indian Nations Council is forming our contingent to send to the Jamboree consisting of 2 Jamboree Troops for males and 1/2 Jamboree Troop for females and a 1/2 unit for a Venture Crew.  More information will be presented but start NOW by making plans to attend this once-in-a-lifetime event.

Youth Requirement:  Scouts attending must be a registered Scout BSA or Venture Scout in the Indian Nations Council.  To attend the National Jamboree, a Scout must: Be a currently registered member of Scouting America in a Scouts BSA troop, Venturing Crew or Sea Scout Ship: If attending as a member of Scouts BSA, a Scout must be at least 12 years of age and no older than 17 years of age. If attending as a member of a Venturing Crew or Sea Scout Ship, a Scout must be at least 13 years old and have completed the eighth grade or is age 14 and not yet 21 years of age.  All youth will register online and once approved can begin to make payments directly to the Indian Nations Council.  

Adult Requirement:  Adults attending with the council's contingent must be registered in the Indian Nations Council, interviewed by the Jamboree committee, and be approved prior to being able to register online. 

Dates: Jamboree:  July 22-31, 2026  - we will leave on July 15th for our pre-Jamboree activities.

Location:  Summit Bechtel Family National Scout Reserve (a.k.a The Summit), West Virginia

Cost: $3,225

Cost includes: Jamboree fee, all meals, touring, hotels, travel, INC Jamboree swag (t-shirts, hats, patches, travel duffel bag, etc.)

Deposit of $300 (non-refundable) due to register

Three additional payments are due:

Payment #1 of $1,000 - by September 1, 2025

Payment #2 of $1,000 - by January 15, 2026

Payment #3 of $925 - by April 1, 2026

Contingent members are welcome to make regular payments via blackpug or at the council office as long as the totals are paid by each deadline.
