The NRA Basics of Shotgun Shooting course introduces studenta to the Knowledge, Skills and Attitude mecessary for owning and using a Shotgun safety.  Through this course, the student will learn about Shotgun parts and operation, ammunition, gun safety, Shotgun shooting fundamentals, and Shotgun shooting acticities.  The Basic of Shotgun Shooting course is a prerequisite for participation in the NRA Shotgun Instructor course. 

The curriculum includes both classroom and range acticities.  You must bring your own Eye and Hearing Protection, and wear comfortable clothing for outdoor activity.  You may bring your own 12ga or 20ga Shotgun.  Some Shotguns will be available for loan.

Brown Bag lunch as there will not be adequate time to go off-site.

Your package includes the NRA Shotgun Handbook, Ammunition and Targets, plus expendable materials.
