The BSA and National Rifle Association is offering an opportunity for Scouters to complete both the NRA Rifle Instructor and NRA Shotgun Instructor courses in one session. Participants must have completed the NRA Basic Rifle Shooting and Basic Shotgun Shooting Courses to be eligible for this Instructor Training.
This combined curriculum was established to provide local Councils a means for National Camping School Shooting Sports Director candidates to meet pre-qualification requirements. It also allows us to offer the opportunity to build the year-round Shooting Sports program by allowing other registered Scouters to attend this combined course so they can
help with unit, district, and council shooting sports events. The package includes NRA Basic Instructor Training, NRA Rifle Instructor, NRA Shotgun Instructor, meals, housing, and NRA certifications and represents a substantial savings compared to attending separate courses. Housing will be in tents (on platforms), one person per tent. Participants will provide their own bedding and personal items.
You must be at least 21 yrs. old and a registered member of the BSA to attend this course.
