Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills (IOLS)

At Graves Scout Reservation

When: March 16th – 17th, 2019

Time:   7am Check-In Saturday, 8am Program Start

Course Ends Sunday, 6pm

 Cost:   $30.00/person before March 2nd   

$35.00/person on or after March 2nd

Staff:   $15.00/person

 *Maximum of 24 registrations per course.*

 About: Working as patrols, this hands-on course provides adult leaders the practical outdoor skills they need to lead Scouts in the out-of-doors. Upon completion, leaders should feel comfortable teaching Scouts the basic skills required to obtain the First Class rank. Along with Scoutmaster Specifics this course is required of all direct contact leaders registered in Scout Troops in order to be considered "trained". Overnight camping is part of this IOLS training course.

 Packing and materials list will be emailed to course participants in advance of the course.
