Get ready for a weekend of digging, building, exploring, and discovering!
Rock Solid Adventure is a hands-on Cub Scout family camp where Scouts experience outdoor adventure while learning about the fascinating world beneath their feet.
From fossils and gemstones to construction and engineering, Scouts will explore how rocks, minerals, and earth science shape our world. Throughout the weekend, Cub Scouts and their families will rotate through exciting activity stations, participate in campwide challenges, and enjoy classic camp traditions.
Whether they are operating RC earth-moving equipment, building rock cairns, shooting at the range, or mixing their own concrete, Scouts will discover that adventure is truly rock solid.
What Makes This Camp Special
Rock Solid Adventure combines outdoor adventure, STEM learning, and hands-on building experiences.
- Scouts will have the opportunity to:
- Shoot BB guns, archery, and wrist rockets
- Explore aquatics activities
- Operate RC earth-moving equipment
- Participate in STEM rock and geology experiments
- Learn the art of mixing concrete
- Dig for fossils and gemstones
- Build rock cairns and engineering projects
Each den will rotate through activity stations throughout the weekend so that every Scout gets to experience the full adventure.

In addition to activity rotations, Scouts will participate in several campwide activities designed to bring everyone together.
