Aquatic Adventure AOL and Webelos

Aquatic Adventure Expedition Aloha, Adventurers!
A Tropical Splash at ZBASE
Grab your swim trunks and your best Hawaiian shirt, the Aquatic Adventure Expedition is going tropical for 2026! This luau-themed long weekend is built for Webelos and Arrow of Light Cub Scouts ready to dive into swimming, canoeing, fishing, and pontoon boat adventures on beautiful Skiatook Lake, all while working toward their aquatics adventure requirements.
Adults, this one's for you too as you will be right in the water alongside your Scout!
What Your Scout Will Experience:
Friday evening kicks off with check-in, orientation, and swim classification testing at the Helmrich Pool Complex that is followed by a cracker barrel to refuel after a big night in the water. Saturday morning your Scout rotates through canoeing, fishing, and pontoon boat rides on Skiatook Lake, then spends the afternoon at the pool working on rescue skills, swimming techniques, and water games. Saturday evening brings our signature Luau celebration and an outdoor movie under the stars. Sunday morning wraps up with a breakfast and a final free swim before checkout.
Over the course of the weekend, Scouts will have the opportunity to work toward requirements for Aquanaut, Paddle Onward, Catch the Big One, Swimming, Paddle Craft, Fishing, and Let's Camp adventures.
What's Included:
All meals from Saturday breakfast through Sunday breakfast, plus a Friday evening cracker barrel. Overnight accommodations in platform tents with cots. Certified lifeguard and aquatics staff supervision. All program supplies and equipment, and an event patch. Please plan to eat dinner before arriving Friday as check-in begins at 4:00 PM and the cracker barrel follows the evening swim program.
