Sooner District Camporee 2025

Friday Night Arrival ‐ April 11th
Because of events, please plan your arrival between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM on Friday. No early
arrivals, please!
Troop Gear
Each Troop will be responsible for their Troop Gear.
Uniform:
Class “B” Unit or Scouting T‐shirts are recommended for the Camporee events, as some of the
events may be rigorous. Field Uniforms (Class “A”) are recommended for the closing Camporee
Campfire on Saturday night.
Troop Meals
Each Troop will be responsible for providing all of their meals.
Prizes
Medals will be awarded to the top three patrols in every group activity.
Iron Chef Roulette
Saturday night, bring your best camp‐cooked meal to be judged. It can be a dessert, main course,
or a full‐blown meal. A lottery will issue a secret ingredient to each participating Patrol Leader
during the morning flag ceremony.
Equipment for Group Activities/Group Learning
We ask that each troop submit an idea of what they would like to demonstrate in the morning and
a competition to play in the afternoon. Please submit them to ssheriff@gmail.com. We will
confirm the competitions by Sunday, April 6th Competition locations will be set and provided during
Friday cracker barrel.
Fees
The cost is $10 per scout, $5 per adult. After April 1st a late fee of $5 per participant will apply.
