Fall Encampment is an encampment for Scouts BSA Boy and Girl Troops and Venturers to learn in-depth skills and unique opportunities. A wide variety of experiences are offered each year. Past events have included shooting sports, fishing & fly fishing, wilderness survival, outdoor cooking, geocashing and surveying. Youth participants will choose their weekend program. The youth working on fly fishing, fishing, search and rescue, wilderness survival, geocaching and surveying will cover requirements for the merit badge, but many of these cannot be completed in the time available. All the youth working on shooting sports will shoot black powder or archery. There may be opportunities for adult participation. All meals are to be provided by the units.
