2026 WSR Campsgiving

Campsgiving
Williams Scout Reservation
December 11-13, 2026
Campsgiving is Scouting America's annual tradition of taking Thanksgiving celebrations outdoors through camping, hiking, and open-air holiday cooking.
Outdoor Cooking: Preparing traditional holiday meals in the wilderness using dutch ovens, foil packs, or camp stoves. Friday Night, Saturday Breakfast & lunch will be with your own Troop. Saturday evening meal will be a potluck meal with all Troops and AOL dens together in the dining hall. Troops are asked to prepare a main dish and AOLs are asked to prepare a side dish.
Advancement & Merit Badges: Earning specialized credit during the event.
Unit & Family Bonding: Unplugging from technology to camp with family or local troops in backyards, local parks, or council campgrounds.
This year, Arrow of Light Scouts are invited to join our local troops for the weekend to learn more about the troop program, and have an overnight campout with a troop for their rank advancement.
