Cub Scout Family Camp and Fishing Derby

Williams Scout Reservation

August 7-8, 2026

Cubs and their families are invited to an overnight Campout at Williams Scout Reservation. There will be a fishing derby on Saturday morning. All Scouts and siblings are invited to participate. Camping is not required. You are welcome to join us Saturday only if you cannot camp.

Lion, Tiger, and Wolf Scouts MUST attend with at least ONE ADULT (mom, dad or both, a grandparent or any other adult family member if mom or dad cannot attend).

The BSA Medical Health Form A & B are REQUIRED for each participant.

Fishing participants must bring their own fishing pole, tackle, and bait.

Trout lines are not allowed. This is a catch and release event.

The cost is $15 per Scout/Sibling, which includes lunch on Saturday, a patch, and awards. $5 per adult, which includes a meal.

If you attended in years past, please wear your patch (this is a continuing patch)

Please remember pets, alcohol, and firearms are not permitted on camp property. 

Schedule of Events:

Arrive Friday Night (Camp opens at 6 pm: eat before arriving)

• setup camp
• lights out by 10 pm

Saturday

Breakfast in your camps

• Announcements/Flags 6:45 AM
• Fishing Begins 7:00 AM
• Fishing Ends 9:30 AM
• Lunch 11:00 AM
• Awards/Prizes 12:00 PM
• Break Camp/Depart for Home 1 PM
