Meteorology is the study of Earth’s atmosphere and its weather and the ways in which temperature, wind, and moisture act together in the environment. In addition to learning how everyday weather is predicted, Scouts can learn about extreme weather such as thunderstorms, tornadoes, and hurricanes, and how to stay safe.

Join us at the Council office to earn this exciting Merit Badge.  The weather in Oklahoma is dramatic and plays a huge role in our lives.  Our instructor will be Andrew Adams, Eagle Scout and a professional meterologist with KWTV in Oklahoma City.

If there is severe weather in the Metro area the evening of the Merit Badge, it will be postponed one week...
