Ahoy, Sooner District troops! It’s time to raise the Jolly Roger and set sail for an unforgettable weekend at Sooner Sam's Pirate Camporee!

This year's voyage is entirely charted and led by our District Youth, promising a weekend full of high seas adventure, skill-testing skirmishes, and incredible patrol bonding. It's time to sharpen your wits, gather your crew, and prepare for glory!

Here is all the important booty (details) you need to get your troop registered:

The Vital Details

 * When: The event takes place from April 24th to April 26th, 2026.

 * Where: We are setting sail for the Kerr Scout Ranch at Slippery Falls.

 * Cost: The entry fee is $30 for Scouts and $20 for adults.

 * Deadlines: Avoid the late fee by registering before April 10th, otherwise the cost jumps to $40. The gangplank officially goes up and registration closes entirely on April 20th.

 * Grub: Troops must provide and cook their own breakfast on Saturday morning. The Camporee Quartermaster will provide lunch and dinner on Saturday, as well as breakfast on Sunday.

 Epic Trials & Skirmishes

The entire weekend is a massive competition between patrols to test your Scouting skills! Get your scouts hyped for events like:

 * Building a mighty catapult for Cannoneering Practice.

 * Bringing a custom cardboard vessel for the Pirate Ship Racing event.

 * Ensuring your cardboard boat is large enough to safely hold a scout.

 * Navigating a treacherous course in the dark for the Night-O event.

 * Building a grand gateway entrance for your camp to show off your troop's spirit to the judges.

 * Preparing a legendary skit or sea shanty to perform at the Saturday campfire.
