What: BSA Lifeguard And Red Cross Lifeguard Certification Class This is a dual certification class. After completion of the class requirements you will have both BSA and RED Cross lifeguard certifications. Through videos, group discussion and hands-on practice, you’ll learn teamwork, rescue and surveillance skills, First Aid and CPR/AED and other skills you need to work as a professional lifeguard. All participants will be learning information and new skills needed to be a professional lifeguard. Successful completion results in a 2-year certification in Red Cross Lifeguarding that includes first aid, professional-level CPR and AED in one certificate and a 2 year BSA Lifeguard Certificate. available upon successful completion of course. In order to complete both classes you will need to complete online learning prior to camp. You need to be able to swim front crawl, breaststroke, side stroke and the elementary backstroke. You will need to tread water and complete timed swims. You must also complete written exams.

Red Cross Online Course May 22 You can work at your own pace to complete all work at home before camp. Completion certificates for online work must be brought to camp.
