2021 Winter Encampment

Event Details

2021 Winter Encampment.  All Troops are invited.  This is an opportunity for Troops to do a winter shakedown.

 Cost:          FREE! Cook your own food.
 

Check-in:   Friday, December 10 between 7 - 8 PM or Saturday, December 11 between 7:30 – 8:30 AM Saturday
 

Check-out:  Saturday, December 11 between 5 - 6 PM or Sunday, December 12 between 8 - 9 AM
 

Activities:  Bring your own supplies.

Troop Skills Competition:
      -- Knot Tying
      -- Fire Building
      -- Troop Spam Cook-Off
 

Bring: water, food, fire materials, camping and cooking gear

Registration: email oa@cimarronbsa.org with Troop number, point of contact name and email, estimated Scout and adult headcount, planned day and time of event arrival and departure. Overnight camping is optional.

Additional Information: A medic will be onsite. Troops are responsible for following Guide to Safe Scouting (e.g., 2-Deep Leadership, medical forms, etc.) and trash. There will be primitive camping only. Expect WRSR to be winterized (i.e., no running water in campsites and no access to bathroom/shower facilities). There will be no access to the Dining Lodge or shooting sport ranges. Only Scout appropriate items are allowed at the Trade Bazaar.
