ECSI Wilderness First Aid
Meets 16 Hour BSA requirements (2 year Cert)
September 18,19,20 (Concurrent with Outdoor Leadership Experience) at MVSR
$100/attendee (Limit 16 attendees) 
Must be at least 14 years of age or older to attend
Cost includes: all meals for the weekend, Wilderness First Aid field book, certification fees, course materials, and first aid pouch.

An event shirt can be purchased for an additional $12

We are providing a First Aid pouch with some Minimal course specific supplies. Students are responsible for anything else they may want in their first aid gear, but only what they would normally cary on a backpacking type excursion. Students should bring their normal gear for a two day backpacking/back country type excursion.  They will use items from their everyday gear to provide first aid.  Some stand in supplies will be offered as not to ruin personal items.  Dress for the weather, it’s rain or shine.  Prepare to be cold/hot/wet/dirty all in the same day, it’s September in Ohio after all. Most importantly we’re gonna have fun. Come with a willingness to learn, an open mind, and prepare to Adapt, Improvise, Modify, and Overcome!

0730-0900 Flags and Breakfast
0900-1200 First aid instruction
1200-1300 Lunch
1300-1800 First aid instruction and skills checks
1800-1900 Dinner and Retreat
1900-2200 finish instruction and skills checks/evening activity Wilderness First Aid Jeopardy
2200 Taps

Sunday
0730-0900 Flags and Breakfast
0900-1000 Prepare for scenarios
1000-1200 First Scenarios
1200-1300 Lunch
1300-1500 Second Scenarios
checkout approximately 1600 or whenever scenarios conclude and we break camp.
