Advanced Leadership Training for Adult Leaders

The Wood Badge is Scouting America's premier leadership training credential for adult volunteers. Through hands-on activities, teamwork, and outdoor experiences, participants develop practical leadership skills they can use in Scouting, work, and everyday life.

Who Can Attend?

To attend a Wood Badge Course, you must:

• Be a registered member of Scouting America
• Complete Safeguarding Youth Training (SYT)
• Complete the required position-specific training for your current role. (Scoutmasters and Assistant Scoutmasters must also complete IOLS)
