Celebrate America's 250th birthday with a weekend of camping, adventure, and family fun! Hosted by Eagle Bay District, Liberty in Action invites Cub Scouts and their families to enjoy an overnight camping experience filled with exciting activities, hands-on history, and Scouting traditions.

Cost: $25 per person

Registration includes:

• Dinner and breakfast
• All activities
• Two commemorative patches

What to Expect:

• Complete five Liberty in Action challenges to earn a special event patch.
• Enjoy archery, BB shooting, Gaga Ball, Four Square, outdoor games, and other family-friendly activities.
• Wrap up the day at the Root Beer Cantina with root beer floats, dancing, and fellowship.
• Birthday Cake Bag Service Project Requirement
  • As part of the Liberty in Action Patch offered by Scouting America during the America 250 Celebration, all participating families are asked to contribute a Birthday Cake Bag. This service project fulfills the community service requirement needed to earn the patch.
  • These Birthday Cake Bags will be donated to local families, helping ensure children can celebrate their birthdays with a special homemade cake. Thank you for supporting this meaningful service project and helping Scouts demonstrate citizenship and service in their communities.
  • Each Birthday Cake Bag should include:
    • 1 box cake mix (any flavor)
    • 1 container frosting (any flavor)
    • 1 foil cake pan with lid
    • 1 box of birthday candles
    • 1 can of soda (any flavor)
  • These Birthday Cake Bags will be donated to local families, helping ensure children can celebrate their birthdays with a special homemade cake. Thank you for supporting this meaningful service project by providing a simple birthday cake to families in need and helping Scouts demonstrate citizenship and service in their communities.

Camping Information:

Families will bring their own tent and camping gear for this overnight event.

Who Can Attend?

All Cub Scouts and their families are welcome, including Lion, Tiger, Wolf, Bear, Webelos, and Arrow of Light Scouts.
