Pathway to Adventure Council’s
Future Frontier

A council-wide event for Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA, Venturers, and Sea Scouts.

October 11-13, 2019
Busse Woods, Elk Grove Village, IL

Participant Fee: $18 ($25 after September 20th)

UNIT LEADERS: Please indicate your anticipated number of attendees. You will NOT be required to pay at this time. Starting on July 15th, you will be asked to begin finalizing your attendance numbers and make a payment. 

Join Scouts from all over the council for Pathway to Adventure’s first-ever council-wide camporee - The Future Frontier!  

Come experience programs and activities that you can’t always find on unit outings or even summer camp - including BMX cycling, robot building, hands-on STEM experiments, obstacle courses, rocket launches, (and so much more!) and then complete the weekend with an incredible closing show!

Weekend camping for Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA, Venturers, & Sea Scouts is available - Cub Scout Packs are encouraged to partner with a Troop.

Registration

Registration should be completed as a group (Troop, Crew, Ship, Exploring Post, Cub Pack, or Cub Den) or as an individual. It is recommended to register as a group, as this will allow for quicker check-in on the day of the event.

Key Dates

September 20 - Last day for Early Bird Pricing!
September 27 - if your unit is planning to camp, please ensure your registration is complete by September 27 to guarantee a campsite and parking spot.

Pricing

$18 is the early-bird participant fee (Scouts, Siblings, Adult Leaders). All participants are welcome to camp, participate in all programs, activities, vendors, etc., and will receive an event patch.

$25 is the participant fee effective September 21

$5 is a non-participant fee (Parents of New Cub Scouts, Parents accompanying Cub Scouts, Siblings that don’t want to participate in programs). Non-participants are welcome to camp and attend the full-day of programs; they will have limited program options; and will NOT receive an event patch.

New Cub Scout recruits and a (1) parent or guardian are free (Code required). New Cub Scout recruits are welcome to camp with their pack or attend Saturday only for the full-day of programs; participate in all programs, activities, vendors, etc.; and will receive an event patch.

Volunteer Opportunities

We’re looking for volunteers to serve on the program and admin teams as part of the Camporee Staff! For $15, staff will receive a limited edition staff patch, entrance to the event, and all meals. If interested, please email PTACCamporee2019@gmail.com to receive the staff registration code.

On-site parking will be extremely limited.  Arrival and departure drop off logistics will be distributed in the coming months.  Please be prepared for off-site arrival and being bussed to the event.
