New Cub Scout
Adventure Days
 

PTAC New Cub Scout Adventure Days - We invite the families of our new scouts in 2020 to experience the fun of Cub Scouting with your fellow new scouts.
 

Scouts will:

• Earn their Bobcat (joining rank) Badge as they go from station to station. 
• Start their Scout skills practicing knots. 
• Learn how to build an at home fire extinguisher at the STEM Station and get the supplies to build it at home. 
• Take a turn catching some "fish" on dry land at our backyard bass station. 

We welcome you to come out and see what Scouting has to offer.

Everyone must register, new scout, parent/guardian, sibling.

Pick the time session on the date that works best for you.  Registration is free. 

*In the event that we are unable to hold in person events due to COVID restrictions the event will move to a virtual event on the Council's Social Media Accounts.  We will communicate how to pick up your kit of supplies to join us from home.

October 10 - Our Saviors United Methodist Church in Schaumburg - 701 E Schaumburg Rd, Schaumburg, IL 60194

1.5 hour sessions: 9:00-10:30; 10:45-12:15; 12:30-2:00; 2:15-3:45; 4:00-5:30

Munster & Schaumburg

5 sessions; 70 participants each

Lemont

5 sessions; 40 participants each

Due to State and Local restrictions on gatherings COVID-19 this event is for families of new cub scouts joining in 2020.  We hope to announce events this fall for all scouts to participate in either in person or virtually
