BLACKHAWK CUB SCOUT KLONDIKE
Who: All Cub Scouts & parents are welcome
What: The Annual Winter Event for Pack & Dens
Where: Harms Woods Grove #5 Harms & Old Orchard Road, Glenview
When: Sunday, January 29th, 2017
Event runs: Noon till 04:30 PM (+ or -) Registration opens at 11:15 AM
How: TEAMS: Ten or less Cub Scout.
SUPPORT STAFF: Minimum of two adult leaders per Team
CHEERING SECTION: Enthusiastic parents who stand back and cheering.
Cost:
$6.00 per registered participant before January 10, 2017. Extended to 1/20/17.
$7.00 per participant After January 20th.
Team Preparation: Each team (of ten or less scouts) needs to arrive equipped with…
- Klondike sled or equalivant.
- Team name
- Team flag (to be displayed on your sled)
- Team yell/slogan is required. Your team will be asked to demonstrate the yell at every event station.
- At least one item (we will have a suggestion list), per person, to donate to Maine Township Food Pantry.
- One clean 2 Liter Bottle filled with Tap Water per team (for cocoa & cooking)
Individual Preparation: Each adult or youth attending…
- Dress appropiately for the weather improperly dressed Cubs will not be allowed to participate.
- Bring one can of soup to add to the common pot. This is Separate from your Food Pantry donation.
- Bring one spoon.
- Bring one un-breakable mug, for soup and cocoa.
