Eagle Watch is an opportunity to view wild Bald Eagles and Frozen Waterfalls up close right here in Illinois!

Note: This is a self guided event. PTAC does not have Staff onsite. More Information can be found on the Flyer! 

You should first stop at the Illinois Waterway visitors center at 950 N 27th Rd (Dee Bennett Road), Ottawa, IL. Inside the visitor center you’ll find exhibits as well as the pilot house of a tug boat (for years Cub Scouts have enjoyed playing tug boat captain). Once you’ve seen the visitors center and eagles, you might take a hike at Staved Rock depending on ice.
