Building and using the Hydraulic Robotic Arm Kit, Scouts will learn about the basics of robotics while earning the Robotics Merit Badge! This is a single-day clinic where only Robotics Merit Badge requirements 4 and 5 will be completed. All other Robotics Merit Badge workbook requirements should be completed prior to attending the clinic. The Merit Badge Counselors on hand will sign Scout’s blue cards if the workbook is complete. We will ONLY have time during the clinic for Scouts to complete requirements 4 and 5. During the clinic, Scouts will need to complete a robot engineering notebook. Scouts will NOT be provided a notebook during the clinic and should attend with a notebook or binder with loose-leaf paper. Scouts will work individually to build the Hydraulic Robotic Arm Kit.
