Pathway to Adventure Council’s original Adventure Day program is in Munster, IN!

The Calumet Community will host this Adventure Day on October 1, 2016.  Check in starts at 7:45am, with the opening ceremony at 8:30am.

We have 9 stations plus three walk around stations this year which will provide challenging, fun learning for your Cub Scouts and an opportunity to teach, lead and be in Cheerful service for Boy Scouts and Venture Crews. 

This year’s stations were designed for fun, scouting activities and even a touch of Adventure advancement!  Leather Stamping returns this year and while there will be leather samples to stamp, we invite the scouts and leaders to bring their own leather items to be stamped as well!  Other stations include:

• Dino Dig
• Blast Off! Rocket Launching
• Practice Archery
• Fishery (paper fish making and fishing)
• Critter Capture (a.k.a parachute popcorn)
• Lawn Jenga
• Obstacle Course the scouts get to make and run
• Castle Building using recycled materals
• Rope and Knots, and Camp Skit/Songs (walk around stations)

The Order of the Arrow will host the concession stands and the Blast Off area for Model Rockets.  Other Boy Scout Troops and Venture Crews will be working with each of our stations to help our Cub Scouts see how great the program is even after 5th grade!

Cost:

$8 per Cub Scout or cub scout aged sibling
$8 for the collector’s edition tshirt ($10 for XXL and larger)
$5 for a rocket (unless you are a new scout who joined in 2016, then you can get your rocket from your Pack)
