PTAC Scout units (Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, and Adventure Crews) will be marching in the 46th Annual South Side Irish St. Patrick’s Day Parade on March 17, 2024. Our parade spot is being co-sponsored by Southtown Health Foods and Beverly Hills Garage. The Parade steps off at Noon at 103rd and Western. Pre staging begins at 10:45. Our number in the lineup and staging spot will be determined/announced. We have staged in front of 7-11 on 103rd St west of Western 5 straight years but that could change. Contact Michael G. Important info: Scouts and Scout Leaders must be in class A uniforms with neck wear (neckerchief-tie-bolo tie). Parents are welcome to join as well. Be prepared for the weather that day. Ideally the Class A will be worn outside of layers underneath. If temperature or weather is a factor the appropriate outer layer should be worn or available. The route is 103rd to 115th and will dispense between 116th to 119th.

Units should bring your unit flag, staff, and carrying harness. This year we will be presenting colors with a giant Flag and require a lot of Hands, especially if it is windy. All units are responsible for their participant’s transportation to and from the event as well any handing off to parents or guardian.
