All are invited to attend a pinewood derby hosted by the Pathway to Adventure Council at Woodfield Mall on April 16th. There will be competitions in both speed and design. Up to 36 Cub Scouts per Pack may be entered, 18 race and 18 design. Registration will close April 14, 2023 at 5pm. Pinewood Derby Race and Design Rules are attached to this event (see links on the top right side of your screen)

Entry fee of $5 will apply for all competition entries. There is no cost to come and see the racing and design competition.
SCHEDULE:
Check-in will start at 11 am for Lion and Tiger Scouts, Racing and Design judging from noon to 5 pm.
Open speed completion for all youth and adults will be available following Cub Scout completion!
Lions and Tigers:
11:00am-12:00pm - Check-in all cars (speed & design)
12:00pm Design Judging begins
1:00pm Race begins
Lion and Tiger Award Ceremonies immediately follow Design and Race completions
Wolves:
12:00pm-1:00 Check-in all cars (speed & design)
1:00pm Design Judging begins
2:00pm Race begins
Wolf Award Ceremonies immediately follow Design and Race completions
Bears:
1:00pm-2:00pm Check-in all cars (speed & design)
2:00pm Design Judging begins
3:00pm Race begins
Bear Award Ceremonies immediately follow Design and Race completions
Webelos 1&2:
2:00pm-3:00pm Check-in all cars (speed & design)
3:00pm Design Judging begins 4:00pm Race begins
Webelos 1&2 Award Ceremonies immediately follow Design and Race completions
Overall Speed Championship and Open Class Racing:
Top winners from Lion, Tiger, Wolf, Bear, Webelos 1 and Webelos 2 will compete for Overall Speed Championship at the completion of the Webelos race, followed by open completion for all Scouts, Siblings, family and friends.
Adult volunteers are sought for setup, track operations and judging.
