Specific Training

Scoutmaster & Assistant Specific Training provides Scoutmasters and Assistants with the basic information and tools they need to lead successful Scout troops. This course along with Introduction to Outdoor Leaders Skills (IOLS) is required training for all Scoutmasters and Asst Scoutmasters to be considered trained for their position.

Participants should bring a notebook and pen. Participants should also have a copy of the Troop Leaders Guide Book, Vol 1, which is available at your local scout shops.
