The hike traditionally attracts over 1,000 visitors. Each group selects their own hiking distance and may choose from 5, 10 or 20-mile hiking trails. The event will take place regardless of rain, sleet, or snow. It is recommended that packs bring banners so your members can find you at the event.

Carpooling is encouraged as parking is limited.

Cost: $5.00 per person. The price includes the event patch.

- Registration will be at the event, no need to pre-register

Concession stand will offer coffee, donuts, pop, hotdogs, chips, candy, lemonade and hot chocolate.


Registration begins as at 8 a.m., and the hike begins at 9 a.m.

Please adhere to the wishes of the park staff: (1) no dogs or pets are permitted, and (2) stay on approved/marked trails. All Scouts, Scouters and families should practice Leave No trace.
