Welding Merit Badge with Plumbers Local 130

A trained welder can earn over $100,000. It is the number one unfilled job in America for more than three years.

Plumbers Local 130 will be conducting a Building Tech Merit Badge Clinic for Welding. This is open to PTAC Scouts 13 and older.

Participating Scouts will be required to bring their Scout shirt (for pictures), but wear cotton clothing, no synthetic fabrics, to work in. A long sleeve shirt and denim jeans. No jewelry and long hair must be tied back. Because embers fall, no sneakers will be allowed; work boots are preferred or leather shoes, no open toes or exposed feet.

9am-noon
1pm-4pm

Absolutely no one wearing shorts or short sleeves will be allowed to participate
