Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills
This training introduces the adult Scoutmaster, Assistant Scoutmaster, or Crew Advisor to the outdoor skills learned by scouts through First Class rank. This includes interactive sessions on cooking, fire building, orienteering, knot tying and much, much more! All Scouters are invited, including Committee members, Webelos leaders, and any other interested adult leader.
This course is part of the required suite for the Scoutmaster or Assistant Scoutmaster positions. The other required trainings are Scoutmaster & Assistant Scoutmaster Position-Specific Training (S24) and Hazardous Weather Training (SCO_800). Both are online trainings accessible through My.Scouting.

What to bring:
BSA Medical form A and B
Tent (we are sleeping outside, not in the cabins)
Good Weather
Sleeping bag/pillow if you use one
Cot if you use one
Camp chair
Class A uniform for arrival and flags
Comfortable clothes and hiking/walking shoes
Rain gear
Mess kit w/mug for hot drinks
Water bottle
Compass
Toiletries (showers are available)
Pen/notebook
Flashlight
