Who: Scouts BSA youth, parents, and Scout leaders

When: Saturday, March 28, 2026

Time: 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Where: Purdue University Northwest. 2200 169th Street, Hammond, IN 46323

Scouting is all about discovery – new skills to master and new subjects to get excited about!  We are proud to announce our first ever merit badge college just for STEM badges, including our newest Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity badges and others including Space Exploration taught by a counselor who worked at NASA! 

Cost: $35       

Registration Deadline: Tuesday, March 24, 11:59pm

Schedule

8:00am - 8:30: Check-In
8:30am: Opening Ceremony
9:00am: Morning Classes Begin
12:00 - 12:45pm: Lunch Break (Scouts should pack their lunch. Staff will be served lunch.)
1:00: Afternoon Classes Begin
3:45-4pm: Classes End

Scout Expectations

• Be in field uniform and prepared to learn.
• Bring a water bottle and lunch.
• Have a watch or clock handy. Return after breaks in a timely fashion.
• As much as possible, complete the prerequisites prior to the event. If that’s not possible, you will earn a partial and can reach out to instructors after the event to complete.
