Cub Scout WinterPalooza

The Caldwell Wood, January 17th event is past, but Scouts may still attend the February 7th Thatcher Woods WinterPalooza. This registration page is open through the event and onsite registration is $10 cash per Cub Scout, sibling and friends. 

Winter fun for the WHOLE FAMILY!

All are welcome and all youth event registrants will receive an event patch (after/via their unit leader).

Event participants (including siblings, friends, etc.) are encouraged to pre-register.

• Broom Hockey: Stomp and score in this snowy, team activity.
• Snowman Build (weather permitting): Create your own frosty friend.
• Snow Bubbles: Watch bubbles freeze in the chilly air.
• Wildlife of Cook County and Animal Tracking Hike: Discover local wildlife and learn to track animals.
• Beginning Orienteering: Navigate your way through fun challenges.
• Obstacle Course: Test your agility and speed.
• Games: Play tabletop games in the beautiful, warm Thatcher Pavilion.
• Warming Fires: Cozy up by the fire to stay warm.
• Refreshments: Enjoy hot cocoa and tasty snacks.
• Cub Scout Membership and Forest Preserve Information Table: Learn more about joining Cub Scouts and our beautiful forest preserves.
