PTAC Camp Strategic Vision Input Sessions Announced

EVERYONE is invited to join us for one of our four PTAC Camp Strategic Vision Input Sessions to be held in each community of our Council! Each of our PTAC camps is accredited by the National BSA, and as a part of our National BSA accreditation we are required to develop and implement a strategic plan for our camps. This requirement is especially important to our Council as it will shape the direction and work of our various committees across the council, and the work they will do to support and grow our camps, properties, and the program offering we host at them.

We truly wish for everyone who wishes to give their input to attend any of these sessions. Participants will be guided by a facilitator from our strategic planning committee, and will be asked to respond and give their thoughts to various areas of strategic interest. We will gather ideas on various areas, such as program, staffing, facilities, food, equipment, marketing, participation/access, engagement, and much more! Every opinion counts in this process and every experience level with camps is welcome, no need to be an expert!

After all our last session is complete we will open and offer an online data collection tool at our website for anyone who missed an in person session and wishes to share input. After this process of data collection is complete our PTAC camp strategic planning committee will bring together all the data and evaluate it to form a strategic plan which will become our guide forward in all efforts pertaining to camps.
