All are invited to attend a day of thrilling creativity and speed as we gear up for the 2026 Pinewood Derby at Woodfield Mall. No need to be a Pack-level winner -- everyone is invited to compete in either race, design, or both. Build Your Own Lego Car: Channel your inner artist and engineer as you create your own miniature racer. The Lego racetrack is free and open to the public. Tips and Tricks Table: Learn from the experts and gather insider knowledge on building a top-performing pinewood derby car. Open Division Race: A race for all ages including adults, where anyone can compete with their custom-built cars. Pull out those legacy racecars from years ago and try your luck!

- Registration Deadline: April 12th

- Race and Design Rules: Will Be Available online

There is no cost for racing!

Races will start at 12pm. 

Lion - Race start 12pm, check in 10:00A - 11:30A

Tiger - Race start 12:30pm, check in 10:00A - 12:00P

Wolf - Race start 1pm, check in 10:00A - 12:30P

Bear - Race start 1:30pm, check in 10:00A - 1:00P 

Webelo - Race start 2pm, check in 10:00A - 1:30P

AOL  - Race start 2:30pm, check in 10:00A - 2:00P

Alumni - Race start 3pm, check in 10:00A - 2:30P

Car Pickup After Race through 4:00pm

Race schedule may change based on the number of cars to be raced in each division.

Adult volunteers are sought for setup, track operations and judging.
