2025 Checaugau and TriStar Cub Scout Pushmobile

Event Details

Checaugau and TriStar Cub Scout Pushmobile 2025

October 18, 2025

PLEASE NOTE:  The event will happen rain or shine. If thunder or lightning are forecast, an email will be sent to registrants on early Saturday morning with an update.

The purpose of this event is to have fun, and focus on teamwork instead of technology, and to provide an activity where “Doing Your Best” is most important.

Pushmobile is a relay race using fairly simple, boy-made, Cub Scout-powered cars. A team consists of five to eight Cub Scouts: a driver, pusher and other scouts waiting to take their turn along the race course.

Cars may be shared or borrowed.  It is our hope that a pack or den may choose to make their own car and that would be a great project, but we will have a few cars that may be borrowed to use for the race. Note that they would need to be shared with any other pack that does not have a car.

The wooden push mobile cars can easily be built for about $50.00 with hand tools in one afternoon.  instructions on how to make a Pushmobile can can be found in the Cub Scout Leader How-To-Book.  Simply add a push bar and it becomes a Pushmobile!

Please note:
