All four of the BSA high-adventure bases require at least one person per trek (two per trek at Philmont Scout Ranch) to be current in Wilderness First Aid. The Miami Valley Council will be providing a BSA approved WFA course (American Red Cross certification) on April 26-27, 2024 at the Schiewetz Leadership Training Center.

Cost is $150 per participant and is limited to 24 attendees.

Participants must be at least 14 years of age.

Fee includes overnight stay in Leadership Cabins, meals Saturday, WFA certification (good for 2 years) and supplies. 

Check in will be Friday April 26, 6 - 6:30pm at the Schiewetz Leadership Training Center and the training will conclude Saturday evening.    

There will be separate sleeping accomodations for men (youth and adult) and women (youth and adult).
