Den Chief Training - October 28

Den Chiefs are key youth leaders who help Cub Scouts grow while developing their own leadership skills. This training is designed for Scouts BSA members who are ready to take on this important role.

What to Expect:

• Learn the responsibilities of a Den Chief and how to support Cub Scout dens and pack activities.
• Develop leadership skills, including communication, mentoring, and problem-solving.
• Discover tips for running games, assisting with advancement, and keeping den meetings fun and engaging.
• Gain resources to make your service as a Den Chief meaningful and successful.

Who Should Attend:

• Scouts BSA youth members who want to serve as Den Chiefs.
• Troop leaders who want to mentor and support Den Chiefs in their role.

What to Bring:

• Dress in Field Uniform
• Bring notebook and something to write with (or tablet/laptop to take notes)
• Snacks will be provided

By the end of training, Den Chiefs will be ready to lead, assist, and inspire younger Scouts while growing their own Scouting experience.
