Miami Valley Council 2025 Council Court of Honor & Recognition Event

Join us on February 23, 2025, as we celebrate the dedication and achievements of our Scouting volunteers at the Council Court of Honor & Recognition. This special event honors the outstanding service and leadership that make Scouting possible in the Miami Valley Council. Nominate deserving individuals by January 31, 2025, to ensure their contributions are recognized. Don't miss this opportunity to show appreciation for those who make a difference in the lives of our Scouts!

Time: Doors open 5pm
Location: Christ Church United Methodist 3440 Shroyer Rd, Kettering, OH 45429
Purpose: Recognizing outstanding volunteers and leaders in the Miami Valley Council for their dedication to Scouting.
Nomination Deadline: January 31, 2025
Who Should Attend: Scouts, Scouters, families, and community members who wish to celebrate the achievements of our dedicated volunteers.

Miami Valley Council Volunteer Awards:

Newcomer Award
Criteria: Awarded to a new leader who has taken on a significant leadership position in the unit for a period of one to two years

Kit Cricket Award
Criteria: Awarded to a leader who has provided service to both the unit and the Council / District for a period of at least two years

Unit Leader Award
Criteria: Awarded to a leader who has taken on a significant leadership position in the unit for a period of at least five years

Outstanding Unit Service Award
Criteria: Awarded to a leader who has taken on a significant leadership position in the unit for a period of at least ten years

Award of Merit
Criteria: Awarded to a Council volunteer who has provided noteworthy service to youth in scouting or outside of scouting, generally for a period of more than four years

Outstanding Charter Organization Representative Award
Criteria: Awarded to a Charter Representative who has distinguished themselves by significantly improving the experience of Scouting for both youth and leaders

Outstanding Charter Organization
Criteria: Awarded to a Charter Organization that has history of being a charter partner and providing additional services to improve scouting
