BALOO Training
Attention Cub Leaders
Join us during Cub Adventure Weekend, May 5-7, for Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation (BALOO) - An introduction to the outdoor program for Cub Scout Packs.
You will learn how to make camping activities and outings FUN. You will discover how to keep your Cub Scouts safe and entertained.
BSA requires at least 1 BALOO trained adult on every Cub Scout den or pack overnight.
Attend all sessions on Saturday and complete the online portion of BALOO training to be a BALOO trained adult.
For online prerequisite - log in to your my.scouting.org account, from the Menu click on "My Training" then select "Expanded Learning" from the Training Courses By Program section. From there, select "Baloo" from the drop down menu. This section only takes 35 minutes - please complete before the in-person session on May 6th.
For the in-person session on May 6th - Meet at the K-lodge immediately following the opening flag ceremony. The session will go from about 9am to 5pm with an hour for lunch with your pack.
