Scouts BSA Klondike Challenge
Scouts BSA Klondike Survival Challenge
In the year 1896 there was a gold rush in the Yukon territory of Canada. Today your troop is traveling to Dawson City to see if there is any remaining gold. Along the way, your SPL decided that it would be “fun” to do the final leg of your travel by sled. As you make your way to Dawson City, you will be faced with ten tasks! Some are to be prepared, some are to keep warm and some are to stay on course. All of these tasks are for your survival!
Details: This will be a day only event for Scouts BSA Troops and Patrols. Troops/patrols may choose to camp for the weekend, but must make their own reservations online for campsites. Cost is $15 per youth and $10 per adult. Lunch will be provided to all participants.
Arrow of Light Scouts may only attend WITH a host Troop.
