CUB SCOUT DAY CAMP IS OFF TO THE RACES!!!

Your child can participate in many types of activities including, *shooting sports, field sports and games, nature, arts and crafts, STEM, and a variety of **other events. It’s staffed by a trained staff and volunteers who will ensure your youth has a safe and fun-filled week of high quality experiences, exciting adventures and new friendships.  This year's theme for camp is "Off to the Races" and special programming will feature all different kinds of racing fun like relay races, boxcar derby, raingutter regatta, air races, and so much more!  Sign up as a Pack or Den!   

*Shooting sports activities vary by location/facilities - ALL sessions will include archery, Sessions 2 and 3 will also include BBs and slingshots
**Fishing will be included at Sessions 1 and 2

WHO CAN ATTEND:

• Day Camp is open to all registered Cub Scouts who will be going into 1st through 5th grades in Fall 2023.
• Cub Scouts going in to 1st Grade (Tiger) next fall MUST have an Adult Partner (parent/guardian) attend with them at all times during Day Camp

DAY CAMP FEES AND INFO:

• Regular Day Camp Fee is $115 per Cub Scout
• Early Bird discount is $105
• Late Fee is $130
• Fee deadlines vary by session, see below
• Fee includes Day Camp t-shirt, patch, and all program supplies
• Attendees to bring their own packed lunch each day
• Camperships for up to 1/2 the Day Camp fee are available and included in registration.
• A Trading Post will be available at each Day Camp, cash only.
• Adults may purchase an optional Day Camp t-shirt in registration

DAILY SCHEDULE:

• Day Camp will take place Monday through Friday of each session
• Check-in each day will start at 8:30AM with Opening Ceremony commencing at 9:00AM
  • The very first day (Monday) Check-in will begin at 8:00AM in order to allow more time to collect Health Forms, pass out schedules and wrist bands/ID, and form Walking Groups
• Check-out and dismissal will be by 4:30PM daily, please pick up your campers no later than 5:00PM

HEALTH FORMS:

Every camper must complete parts A & B of the Annual Health & Medical Record. Parents/Guardians must sign the form and attach a COPY of their insurance card, front and back. The form does not require a Doctor’s signature but does require the Tetanus immunization date.

Health Forms can be submitted to the Miami Valley Council Service Center by the Thursday before your Day Camp Sesssion or brought to Day Camp on the first day during check-in. Scouts without health forms will not be allowed to stay at camp.
