HOWL OF DUTY connects Scouts with the ideas of service, sacrifice, and patriotism while helping them learn about the United States military and our Veterans community. Scouts tour Motts Military Museum while completing a series of activities that result in them completing one of their adventures.

Tigers will complete the Good Knights adventure.
Wolves will complete the Council Fire: Duty to Country adventure.
Bears will complete the Paws for Action adventure.

Participating Scouts: $10 (Fee covers patch, event admission, museum admission - belt loops are given out, but documentation is provided for your Pack)

Non-Participants: $3 Museum Fee (applies to EVERYONE entering the museum)

Please bring 1 or more canned good/personal hygiene items to donate for a group service project!

Please arrive for your registered start time. This helps alleviate crowding and provide a better experience for everyone.

Scouts are encouraged to wear their Class-A uniform and have an "official photo" taken as a part of the event.

HOWL OF DUTY is an annual event organized by Simon Kenton Council’s Gateway District, but it is open to any Scout of any rank, district, or council. Come learn, have fun, and adventure with us!

Participants typically need about 60-90 minutes to complete everything, so plan accordingly as the museum closes at 5pm. There will be no admissions after 4:30pm. HOWL OF DUTY is self-paced, so you start when you arrive and finish when you're done.
