About: Bear Scouts & partners, please join us in the North Fields of Antrim Park!

Bear Scouts will complete the Bear Picnic Basket adventure as they learn about cooking, measuring, and nutrition. Will there be fire? Yes. Will there be food? Yes! Will it rain? Maybe! Participants will also receive an unbearably cool patch!

The event format will allow small groups of Scouts to rotate through stations where they will complete activities based on the Bear Picnic Basket adventure. By completing all stations, participating Bears will complete the adventure and be awarded the Bear Picnic Basket adventure loop at check-out along with an unbearably cool event patch.

No products containing nuts will be used at any of the stations, but participants are asked to make any food allergies known at check-in so that we can ensure a safe experience for everyone. Food allergies, religious preferences, and other dietary restrictions will be discussed during the event and Scouts will be encouraged to think about ways that they can be helpful, kind, and courteous when it comes to food - regardless of if it's at a camp-out or in a school cafeteria.

THINGS TO BRING: Please help us be clean in our outdoor manners by bringing a small mess kit and a reusable cup capable of handling hot / warm liquids. Also, dress for the weather because this event takes place outside!
