For many Scouts, Summer Camp is their first experience shooting a BB gun or a rifle, or drawing back a bow, and for many it can spark a life-long passion. We understand that finding other opportunities to fuel that passion and develop the skills can be difficult.  Range Master Training is for day camp staff, volunteers who work with the Shoot-O-Ree or volunteer with other District and/or Council events where BB and Archery Shooting Sports is a part of the program.

Archery, BB gun shooting, and slingshot shooting are restricted to day camps, Cub Scout/Webelos Scout long term camps, council-managed short-term camps, or council activities where there are properly trained supervisors and where all standards for BSA shooting sports are enforced. All shooting ranges in the Cub Scout program must be supervised by a qualified range master who is at least 18 years of age and meets the minimum requirements.

This training offers two sessions a month: BB & Archery.  Choose one or both, based on your schedule.
