Level I BSA Climbing Instructor Training

Level 1 Climbing Instructors can help take Scouts climbing and rappelling at Camp Falling Rock both on the climbing tower and the cliffs.

Climbing & rappelling outings allow Scouts to push their boundaries and face their fears. With the help from dedicated volunteers, like you, these types of events are made possible.

• This is a 16+ training course
• There is a maximum of 24 participants for the training.

Scouting America National Standards require that all adults participating in any Scouts BSA program must be registered in good standing and have current SYT.  To verify that the adult volunteers attending program events are registered, we  now require that theScouting America Membership number and the date that SYT was completed, be provided at the time of registration.  This number can be found via My.Scouting.
