Citizen Scientist Experience

A BioBlitz is an event where scientists, naturalists, and community members work together to identify and record as many species as possible in a specific area within a set period.  The goal is to document biodiversity, raise awareness about local ecosystems, and contribute to conservation efforts.  This will be done by using citizen science app iNaturalist.  This event is great for education, community engagement, and providing vauable data for researchers and conservationists. 

• Bring your own phone to record data.
• Opportunties to work towards other awards
• LNT Level 1 is also available to participants 18 year old and older (Additional fee)
