Have you ever been to a Trout Fishing Derby?

Camp Oyo will be our "Fish Camp" as we head to Turkey Creek Lake for the annual Trout Derby on Saturday 7:00 AM check-in till 3:00PM. This part of the event is free and the lake will be stocked with trout.

You can arrive and leave when you want. Each unit will be responsible for their own transportation to and from the lake.

Lunch will be provided by the Derby Sponsors. The sponsors will also have awards for the biggest fish. In the afternoon, when you get back to camp, we will be offering an opportunity to complete the fishing merit badge for anyone who needs it, so be sure to record your catches.

There may be opportunities for service hours and possibly other merit badges (to be determined on availability of counselors). OA will be having their Call Out during the evening program and campfire.
